　「ヤマト２」のＢＧＭ集はこれとエターナルエディションシリーズの２種類しかありません。「ヤマト２」フリークならどちらかをまずは入手されるがいいかと。ＢＧＭの配置も聴く側の立場に立ってよく整理され居ると思います。しばらくの間はこのアルバムが唯一の「ヤマト２」アルバムということもあり、私は結構聞き込みました。未使用曲に名曲が多いのもまた素晴らしいです。
　ただ、サントラとしての純度はエターナルエディションシリーズの方が高い気はしてます。両方買うのが一番ですが、物語を懐かしむにはエターナルエディションシリーズの方が良いかもしれませんね。

このＣＤは「さらば宇宙戦艦ヤマト」ではなく「ヤマト２（ＴＶ版）」のＢＧＭです。
パイプオルガンで演奏される白色彗星関連の曲は重厚で、帝国の強さを見事に演出しています。
デスラーとの戦いで使用された「デスラー戦法」はヤマトを見たことがある人にはたまらない曲だと思います。
また「アンドロメダ」ヤマト２（さらば〜を含む）にしか使用されていませんが、ヤマトの音楽の中でも上位に入る名曲です。
デジタルリマスターで音質も良く価格も安いのでヤマトの音楽に魅了された人は買って損のない一枚です。
ぜひ一度聴いてみてください。

「宇宙戦艦ヤマト２」に使用されたＢＧＭが収録されているＣＤです。このＣＤを聴いて「ヤマトの音楽の力はすごい」と思いました。それは、このＣＤを聴いているとアニメのたくさんのシーンが頭に蘇ってくるからです。「宇宙戦艦ヤマトのテーマ」ではオープニングの海面から浮上し空高く飛び立つヤマトの雄姿。「アンドロメダのテーマ」では敵艦の猛攻に風前の灯状態だったアンドロメダが土方艦長の奇策で戦況をひっくり返し勝利を収めたシーン。私が特に好きなのは「無限に広がる大宇宙」です。白色彗星との最後の戦いのシーンを数々思い出しました。斉藤が古代に別れを告げ自分を犠牲にして白色彗星の動力源を爆破したシーン。白色彗星から撤退しヤマトに帰還するも加藤が微笑を浮かべながら息を引きとったシーン。聴いていて涙が出てきました。「宇宙戦艦ヤマト」は宮川先生の音楽とは切っても切れないものだと実感しました。
