Blankey Jet Cityが解散してもう5年経ちました。
それでも、なお個々の面々はJUDE&SHERBETS,ROSSO,そしてLOSALIOSで第一線にて活躍してます。

そんなLOSALIOSの5枚目のアルバムです。
前作は、浅井健一やミック・カーンなどとコラボレートしたアルバムでしたが、
今回のアルバムは、中村達也、TOKIE、カトウタカシのメンバーに加えて、新メンバーの曾田茂一が参加して、この4人だけで作られています。

僕が思っている以上に、新メンバーの影響というのは多く、ただ単にギターが一本増えたわけではありませんでした。
人間が一人増えることで、曲に対するアプローチが何倍にも膨らむんだということを示してくれています。

実際、アルバム上でもギターが全体的に前にでており、曲調もロックよりになっています。
（2ndアルバムでは、SAXが入っていたため、ジャズよりでした。）
ドラムでもタイト目に叩いている印象で、各楽器もある程度、完成された上で遊んでいる感じがします。

個人的には、Anacondaが大好き（特にヘヴィーなベースのリフ）なので、ジャズよりのものを少し期待していたのでちょっと残念でしたが、多様に変化するLOSALIOSの可能性を感じた一枚でした。

前作が「美の終局」ならば、今作は幽霊船という方舟に乗りこんで新たな航路を目指すLosaliosか。

Colorado Shit Dogより続いたジャジーな匂いはサックスの離脱で多少薄まったようにも思えるが、
インストバンドとしてのアバンギャルドなパワーは全く落ちていないし、
新たに加入した會田茂一のスキルもLosaliosの音によりサイケな色彩を与えている。

前作を経たことによって、ガムシャラなプレイだけでなく（それも充分魅力的だが）
抑揚のきいた緻密なセッションの中にも独特の存在感を放つ中村達也の成長を垣間見ることが出来るだろう。
このアルバムを引っさげた、今年のツアーにも要注目。

最近、某音楽店にめっきり行かなくなったのがいけなかったらしく、発売日から二ヶ月も経ってしまってから聴いている私には、本当に呆れてものも言えないですが､聴いててゾクゾクした。震えはしばらくして喜びにかわって部屋の中で小躍り(笑)しながら、踊るほど広くはない部屋の中でしばらく過ごしてしまった。いや、はっきり言って別に踊りのうまくない私にとって踊りやすいリズムとはいえないけれども。シック,モータースクール、フェローズのラインが好き。あそこらへんでくるくるまわってた気がするので。参考にならない
と思うけど､オススメします。踊りのうまい人はできれば踊ってみてね。
