　価格も手ごろでデザインも出しゃばりすぎず、BUFFALOらしい手堅い商品か。ただし、付属の中継ＵＳＢコードが50cmで｢帯に短したすきに長し｣。おまけにハブ側は｢ミニＵＳＢプラグ｣で、市販流通ケーブルで利用環境に応じた長さ選択の余地がない。マグネットがボディに取り付けられており、金属部に両面テープを使用せずに取り付けられるのはいいが、これもコスト削減の一環か、マグネットが小さすぎて中途半端。

　中国で最終アッセンブル、パッケージングしている商品らしくシースルーのプラスチック梱包で、中の商品を取り出すのは容易ではない。一つ間違えれば、手を切りかねない。
　女性や高齢者に｢やさしい｣パッケージングとは到底思えない。

　店頭での万引き防止策なのか、コスト削減策なのか、フックに吊す時にもっともコンパクトで場所を取らないためなのか知らないが、最近このプラスチック梱包がやたらと目に付く。代表的なのはマウスである。これも開封するのが容易ではない。

　これから購入を検討している方、くれぐれも開封時にご注意ください。
