インダストリアル・メタルの最高峰バンド「Fear Factory 」の2ndアルバム。
スラッシュ、デス、グラインドコア、テクノ、など様々なジャンルの音を吸収し、取り入れたような音楽になっています。
純真HMファンからしたら少し邪道だと思われているかもしれませんが、ボーカルのクリーンヴォイスやデスヴォイスを使い分けたり、レイモンドヘレーラの超絶ドラミングなど聞き所満載です。
特に１~４曲目の曲の展開を聴くだけでノックアウトされるほどです。
インダストリアル・メタルを聞きたいならこのアルバムを買うのが一番でしょう。

ROADRUNNER　RECORDS社が２５周年を記念して発売された、「DEMANUFACTURE」と「REMANUFACTURE」が一緒になった特別版です。もともとの「DEMANUFACTURE」は、約十年前に発売されたそうです。
十年前とは思えない程の、メタル感のつまったアルバムになってます。
　個人的には二曲目の「SELF BIAS RESISTOR」と七曲目の「BODY HAMMER」が好きです。　ちなみに、「REMANUFACTURE」は、「DEMANUFACTURE」のミックス版です。　値段は少し高めですが、通常版よりこちらの方をおすすめします。

“New Breed”が聴きたいがために僕はこのアルバムを購入しました。
期待通り“New Breed”格好良過ぎです。
いや、それよりFEAR FACTORY、格好良過ぎです。激しい音楽の愛好家の僕はFEARFACTORYに惚れました!
ヴォーカルのバートン・C・ベルは叫ぶたけではなくクリーンヴォイスも歌えるのだから凄い方だと思います
FEAR FACTORYを初めて聴くという初心者はこの『DEMANUFACTURA』から聴く事をオススメします。
他にも“Demanufacture(1)”、“Self Bias Resistor(2)”、“H-K(9)”等“NewBreed”にも負けないくらい格好いい曲もあります。特に気に入った曲は“Replica”です。
言葉では言い表わせませんが、とにかく“Replica”は格好いい曲です。
激しいロックの愛好家ならばFEAR FACTORYを一回は聴くべきです。後、インダストリアル・メタル好きも聴いてください。ハマると思います。
個人的に気に入った曲は、
Demanufacture(1)
Self Bias Resistor(2)
Zero Signal(3)
Replica(4)
New Breed(5)
Body Hammer(7)
Flashpoint(8)
H-K(Hunter-Killer)(9)
ですね。何回も言う様ですが、“Replica”は名曲です(しつこーい`o'!)。
ボーナス・トラックにはNYHCの雄、AGNOSTIC FRONTの“Your Mistake”が収録されていてかなり激しい感じに仕上がっています。
因みに僕がFEAR FACTORYのメンバーで好きなのは現在、脱退しBRUJERIAで活動しているディーノ・カザレス(G)です…(笑)。
そして、現在FEAR FACTORYのアルバムは製造中止(?)になってきているのでFEAR FACTORYファンのために再発してほしいですね。再発してくれる事を願っています。
星は五つなんじゃ足りません。個人的に百個あげたいです!
FEAR FACTORY、さいこーだぜぇ!!!
