   ハワイに住むサーファーのアン・マリーは、過去の事故の恐怖から思い切ったライディングができなくなっていた。そんな自分に打ち勝つために、彼女は世界一危険な大会「パイプ・ライン・マスターズ」に出場する決心をする。
   サーファー少女たちのサーフィンへの情熱を描いた気持ちのいい青春映画。ヒロインが、過去の傷をぬぐい去ろうと、親友と妹にサポートされて挑む大会のシーンは圧巻。カメラが海の中に入り込み、うねる波のトンネルの中をすべるように走る。観客はヒロインと一緒に波をくぐりぬけ、サーフィンを疑似体験できるのだ。スクリーンがら飛沫が飛んできそうな臨場感は、夏＝海という人にはたまらないだろう。一生懸命働いて、一生懸命サーフィンをやっているサーファーガールたちのライフスタイルも好感度大。出演はケイト・ボスワース、ミシェル・ロドリゲスなど。監督＆脚本はジョン・ストックウェル。（斎藤 香）

5.0 out of 5 stars BGMのようなハワイ気分満点映画, 2006/2/7
前に一度レンタルして何となく忘れられず、欲しくなったので購入しました。

理由は、ハワイの青くてきれいな海でのサーフィンシーンが気に入ったのと。
主人公役のケイトボワースが、海が似合う日に焼けた健康的なイメージで好感がもてたからです。

これを見終わった後、水着を買いにいって、海に行きたい〜！
という気持ちになるほど南国ムード満点の作品ですよ。

あと、地元のサーファーたちの海や波を愛する気持ちが伝わってきました。

サーフィンのプロを目指す女の子の夢と挫折、友情とロマンスがさわやかに感じられる１本です。
最高傑作品だとは思いませんが、のんびりと何回も繰り返し見れる作品かな、と思います。
わたしは、よく何かをしているときBGMのようにこのDVDをかけながらって事が多いです。
観ながら掃除したり、腹筋したりしています。。。
控えめながら心に残る映画です。

映画館で見てDVD発売を心待ちしてました

恐怖に打ち勝ちパイプをメイクしにいく勇気もカッコイイ

美しい海と素晴らしいパイプを最高のテクニックで映像化されて
見ている、海とサーフィンがあらためて好きになる、そんな作品

いかにも女の子サーファー、なジャケットですが、
観てみてびっくり！めちゃくちゃ迫力のある海・波の映像に
圧倒されっぱなしでした。
ケイト・ボスワース演じる主人公が、海と波をこわいと思う気持ちが
手に取るようにわかりました…。本当に、すごい迫力です！
ラブロマンスもありますが、それよりとにかく海と波と、主人公が
それに立ち向かっていく姿に目が釘付け。
本当に活躍しているサーファーや、ハワイの地元サーファーも
たくさん出演していて、映像と話のリアリティに説得力を与えてます。
海が好きな人、これは必見ですよ〜！
