高見沢俊彦がドイツ・ベルリンをテーマとしたコンセプト・ミニ・アルバムをリリース。1991年の『主義-ISM』以来のオリジナル・ソロ作品となる本作は、「ベルリンの至宝展」（2005年 朝日新聞社／TBS主催）テーマ・ソング、トリビュートアルバム『Love for NANA』からの「BEAT 7 The Theme of LOVE for NANA」ほかを収録。


内容（「CDジャーナル」データベースより）

ベルリンをテーマにしたコンセプト・ミニ・アルバム。サントラや企画モノを除いては、91年6月発表の『主義-ISM』以来、実に14年ぶりとなるオリジナル・ソロ作品。インスト曲など、ALFEEとは違った趣向の楽曲を収録。

１４年ぶりのソロアルバムということですが、
前作とは全く違った趣向ですね。
また、THE ALFEEとも全く違います。
いつものTHE ALFEEを期待している人にはちょっと
期待はずれかも。。。
私は打ち込み系も好きなので、個人的に星５つです！

THE ALFEE高見沢俊彦の14年ぶりのソロアルバム。3曲のインストと、3曲のボーカル曲を含む全6曲のコンパクトなミニアルバムです。

ただ、今回のリリースの理由となるメインの楽曲は、Tr-1とTr-2のインストです。東西ドイツ統一15周年記念のイベント「ベルリンの至宝展」のテーマ曲として作られたこの2曲は、2曲とも打ち込みのリズムに乗せて、ギターでメロディーを奏でるという形式を取っています。1曲目はかなりアップビートなリズムで、その上をギターが哀愁のメロディーを奏でます。高見沢氏のテクニックに支えられたギターがとても魅力的です。1曲目に比べると2曲目はバラードとも言える曲で、美しい哀愁のメロディーをギターが奏でています。

2曲とも、歌入りではなく、ギターインストであるということを除けば、前回のソロアルバム「Ism」と同じ流れにあるという言い方もできるかもしれません。前回の「Ism」の時に高見沢氏が言っていた「Dry＆Sentimental」という言葉がこの2曲にもぴったりと当てはまります。

Tr-3はこのアルバムのための新曲で、アップテンポでポップなボーカル曲です。
Tr-4はアルフィーのライブでも人気の曲のパンクバージョンです。最近のアルフィーのライブでもこのバージョンで演奏されることがあります。
Tr-5は崩壊前のベルリンの壁をテーマにしたアルフィーの楽曲で、今回のベルリンというテーマに併せて、今回、アコースティックバージョンにて再収録されています。前回のアレンジよりシンプルで歌のメッセージがより伝わってくるような気がします。
Tr-6は人気漫画NANAのための曲で、これもインストですが、Tr-1やTr-2と全く違うポップな曲です。
