基本的にこれを聴くのはかつてのSUEDEのファンでしょう。
SUEDEのファンの人は買って損はしません。
タイトル曲は3分未満で、近年のバーナードの作る曲の大袈裟さが薄れてて聴きやすい仕上がり。
ベースとドラムの音が小さすぎるのがかわいそう。
カップリングの曲は地味。悪く無いけど、かつてのSUEDEのB面曲と比べたら面白みに欠ける。よって★は4つ。
でもREFUGEES自体はポップだけど、何回聴いてもあきないし素晴しい！

一回聴いてみてほんとにイイ！！確かにsuedeとは結構変わってますけど、ブレットのボーカルも最高です（＾＾）なにかととsuedeと比較してますけど、別のバンドとして再結成してるわけなんだから違って当たり前だと思いますし・・とにかく良いです。

バーナード脱退以降のｓｕｅｄｅは、バンドとしての音のバランスがとても良かった。傑作『ａ　ｎｅｗ　ｍｏｒｎｉｎｇ』後のブレットのスランプは、音楽的なものではなく気持ちの問題だったのかな、と思う。
そんで気持ちを満たすためにバーナードと組んだらこんな結果に・・・。

ギターの音だけ大きすぎない？

ソロのギタリストとしては素晴らしいと思うけど、これでは曲全体のクォリティーが下がってしまいます。
まぁ、自分がプロデュースするんだから目立ちたいのはわかるんだけど・・・。
もっと大人になって下さい、バーナードさん。
そして、がんばれ、ブレット。
