詩が印象的で美しい。最近、言葉とメロディを大切にしている曲が増えてきたように思います。小室時代へのアンチテーゼでしょうか？この曲も日本人の感性を十分に響かせながらも、ワールドスタンダードな普遍性を感じさせてくれます。長く人々の心に残る曲でしょうね。誰にも似ていないsalyuの歌です。

何となく聴いてたFMから流れてきた曲。
流れるようなメロディと、UAを柔らかくしたような歌声に心を惹かれ、
彼女何者？と検索をかけ、CDを買うまでに、そう時間はかかりませんでした。
彼女のこと、全くの新人だと思ってたので、小林武史さんが
プロデュースされてると知った時は驚きました。
（リリィ・シュシュはあまり興味がなかったので、“へー”って感じでしたが）

こういう歌手がもっとヒットしてくれないかなぁ。
せめて今の世の中、このような人の心を和ます曲がもっと増えれば、
マイナスな思いを持つことも減るのに。

apbankのDVDで知り、初めて音源を聴いた。その1曲目の曲想のつけ方に、他の歌手にないものがあったから、すぐに買った。その不思議な声でこそ成立するオリジナルの魅力だった。それこそが曲の世界を完成させている要因だという気がしたから買いたくなった（他のどの歌手が歌ったとしてもあの宇宙観は作れないだろう）。

どんな声なのか。イノセンスに溢れた声だ。しかし強さもある。それが手ごたえと共に真っ直ぐ伝わってくる。そして途端に体の中へ透明に入ってきて、すっと宇宙が広がるよう。科学的には倍音のように音を広げられるからだろう。だが大切なのは音色の中に、歌心をこめてゆく様が感じとれるタイプの歌手だということ。特にここに収められている2曲は、無垢で深遠な曲想があるから、一気に気持ちが吸い寄せられた。

しかし決して歌唱技術を見せ付けるアプローチはしない。ミスチル、マイリトルラバー等小林氏の作り方の特徴である、等身大の少女像から広がってゆく無垢なエネルギーの魅力が主眼だ。どこか人間臭くて、一生懸命歌ってる空気感に親近感が湧く。2曲目は特に真っ直ぐにイマジネーションが飛んできた。

ちなみにジャケの色使いは、曲調と非常にあっていた。ゆっくりそのブルーのグラデーションで滲んでゆくようであり、或いは逆に夜空に広がってゆくようでもある。
