前作ライオンの興奮も冷めないうちに、早くもミニアルバムをリリース

今回は完全にギターが主役！！重く太い民生のギターがグイングインと一発目から炸裂！！
アルバム後半に入ると海の底へと沈んでいくかのような感覚にとらわれた。
ギターの音一つで、一気に別世界へと連れて行ってくれるかのような
そして、最後はやっぱり哀愁を感じて民生のアルバムは終わるのだ。
民生の哀愁がとても心地よい、、、

もう、民生の音楽からは逃げられません。。。

　「英辞郎on the web」で調べたら、comp《ジャズ》伴奏者、伴奏／ ＝compensate　埋め合わせる／ ＝compensation　弁償／ ＝competition　競争／ ＝complimentary ticket　優待券／　＝compounding　一時払い／ ＝computer　コンピュータ　と、実に様々な意味があることが分かりました。
　ＯＴのことですから、きっと意味深長なはずです。あなたはどれだと思いますか？
　ところで、今では「７曲」だとミニ・アルバムみたいな印象がありますが、それはＣＤになってからであって、ＬＰの頃には標準的な数だったような気がします。ＬＰで１０曲だと「おお、いっぱい入っている！」と思ったものでした。
　何が言いたいかというと、これはミニではないな、ということです。曲調もそれぞれ異なり、と同時に「民生の曲だ」と瞬時に分かる、民生の熱さと技がギンギン（古いか…）な「ブランニュー（古いか…）フル・アルバム」と言ってもいいのでは、ということが言いたかったのでした。

　前作LIONからあっという間のインターバルで４月末発売ホヤホヤ我らが奥田民生のニューアルバム。こんなにすぐ出ると思ってなかったのが正直なファンの一致したところだと思うが、きっと創作意欲がピークなんだろう。さすが特技は作曲能力と言うだけのことはある。今回も粒ぞろいの佳曲が並んだ快作。
　前作は海外メンバー中心、ツインギターでローリングストーンズばりのロケンロールだったが、今作はギターが民生一人のバンド構成、しかもこのアルバムではギターのオーバーダブはアコギ除いて無い（たぶん）。曲調の骨子はいつもと同じなのに、バンド構成変えるだけでこれだけかっこよく変身できるのだからすごい。録音も非常にライブ感があってワクワクする。それにしても「LION」といい「ひとり股旅」といいこの快作「comp」といい最近の民生ファンは幸せだい。それにしても民生ってギターこんな達者だったっけ。
