他のロックジャンルに比べ、ややダークネス＆重音が特徴のヘヴィーロック界の異端児「Mudvayne」。
アルバムには、必ずと言っていいほどビシバシと特徴のある曲が入っているヘヴィーロック界のオススメバンドです。
「Korn」等のバンドが好きな方にはハマってしまう要素がギッシリ詰まっています。
余計な音をほとんど使用していない、シンプルでいて重量感のある音楽を楽しめますよ♪

このアルバムの特徴は、やはり1曲目の「Determined」。
今までとはまた少し違ったノリノリ的な要素が含まれています。
ちょっと古い例えかもしれませんが「縦振り」系のノリです。
「Mudvayne」の公式サイトを見たことある方は聴いたことがあるかもしれませんね。
以前に公式サイトのTOPページでかかっていた曲です。
（↑私はこの時点でやられてしまいました…）

このアルバム以前の曲もオススメ！
「L.D. 50」収録、2曲目の「Dig」
「The End of All Things to Come」収録、3曲目の「Not Falling」
いずれも大音量の中で聴きたいものばかりです。

いい曲が多いけど、アルバムを通して聞くと単調な感じがします。
でも、ボリュームをかなり上げるとよりよくなります。

特に気に入った曲は「1.Determind」「3.HAPPY?」「4.IMN」「7.Choises」
ファーストやセカンドアルバムから実に大きく成長したものだ。どのバンドも辿って行く道ではあるが、サウンドは洗練され無駄がなく、１曲の中に流れが存在し飽きさせない。
何といってもヴォーカル、チャドグレイのシャウトは絶妙であり、「4.IMN」で極限に達する。このアルバムの最大の特徴であろう。
また、歌詞も非常に攻撃的であり、「7.Choises」では反社会、反政府的な内容も見られ、米ヘヴィメタル思想に適っているので聴き応えは十分だ。
興味のある人は「1.Determind」「3.HAPPY?」のPVも必見
