このCDを聴くまで彼等の名は知りませんでした。元crownのトーマスが在籍してるという理由で購入。
聴いた感想としてはcrown時代よりも遥かに殺気を増したトーマス、破壊力満点のデスラッシュサウンド。文句なし名盤です。

ちょいと働きすぎのGUS G.(ガス Ｇ.）参加のデスメタルバンドnightrageの2ndアルバム“Descent Into Chaos”。前作ではゲスト参加だったガスも今作より正式メンバーとなっています。そのためか、前作に比べガス節全開のアルバムとなっており、ボーカルはデスボイスなものの、ピュアなヘビーメタル要素が強くなっています。DREAM EVIL(脱退しちゃいましたけど）、FIREWIND、MYSTIC PROPHECYは聞いても、nightrageはデスだからという理由で敬遠しているガスファンも多いと思いますが、ぜひ聞いてみてください。

スウェーデンの激烈メロディック・デスバンドの２ｎｄ。

ズバリ、前作よりも良い。

前作に比べ、よりメリハリがつき、激烈な部分はとことん激烈に、メロディックな部分はとことんメロディックに仕上がった印象を受ける。

爆走ナンバーが増えたのがグッド。
とりあえずオープニングの＃１“Being　Nothing”で首根っこブチ折れ決定。

ドラムとベースが交替しているが、遜色のない見事な働きっぷりで、この手のバンドには欠かせない屋台骨を完璧に支えきっている。

また、ヴォーカルも前作に引き続き、多忙なシンガー、トーマス・リンドバーグ（AT　THE　GATES、THE　CROWN･･･）が担当し、素晴らしい歌唱を披露している点も嬉しい限り。ロックの要素が強いTHE　CROWNよりも、直線的でメタルしているNIGHTRAGEの音楽性には彼のデス・ヴォイスはまさにジャストミート。
次作でもヨロシク！

腐った世の中に怒りを感じている諸氏は、コレを聴いてたまった鬱憤を晴らすべし！
