1stから3rdアルバムからのベスト盤なので、発表から長い間（10年以上）経つにもかかわらず古さをほとんど感じさせない所はさすがというしかない。ボーナス的な曲としては、ビデオでしか発表されていないパニックの芽が入っていることで、この曲がCD化されただけでも、買う価値あり。また、ほとんどのソロアルバムが入手困難な状況なので、このアルバムは新しくDeadEndやMorrieのファンになった人にとっても、うれしいのではないかと思う。

4.0 out of 5 stars 音楽を飛び越え「芸術」「哲学」の域に, 2008/4/27
DEAD ENDのVocalにして、「負のカリスマ」MORRIEのソロ作品のベストアルバム。

はっきり言って、詞曲共にかなり難解であり、キャッチーさがあるわけでもなく、
現在の日本では到底万人受けする作品ではない。
音楽を娯楽として考えて聴いている人には、とてつもなくハードルが高いだろう。

しかし、一度は耳にすべき作品だと思う。
MORRIEの描く、冷たく暗い混沌とした重い世界観はかなり深い。
この境地の作品を作ろうと思っても、常人には到底作れるものではないだろう。
こういう作品を作ろうと思う人自体少ないのではないか。
そして今現在こういうジャンルのこのレベルの作品を作る、作れる人は皆無だと思う。
まさにカリスマ。
形態は音楽であるが、これは「芸術」であり「哲学」である。
生半可に音楽を考えていると到底理解できるものではない。
真剣に音楽と向き合う姿勢があるのなら、この世界に足を踏み入れてみてはどうだろうか。

なおこれはベストであり、作品に一貫性があるわけではないので☆は４つである。
残念ながらすべて廃盤になっている各オリジナルアルバムはもっと強烈である。
聴けるものなら聴いてほしいものだが・・・

Morrieの過去三枚のアルバムから数曲ピックアップされてますね。
なんと言っても目玉は「パニックの芽」
どのアルバムにも未収録だった曲が入ってるのは非常に嬉しいです。
が、残念な一面も。
シングルで発表された曲で、アルバム未収録の曲が入ってない!!
今となってはシングルの入手が非常に困難なので、どうせなら入れて欲しかったです。

とはいえ内容的には非常に満足の選曲でした＾＾
