かなり前の彼のシングル『ANOTHER WORLD』を思わせるような
スピード感あふれる弾けたサウンドで、聴いた時に
“夏だ~!”と感じました。
バラードや優しい曲もかなりいいけど　自分的にはこういった曲が
Gacktらしいと思うし季節的にもいいですね~、思い切りがよくて。
ACTIVEな夏のBGMに・・・。元気が出ます!

　昨年からの流れで、ここへ来てのこのアップテンポのロック調はとても
嬉しい。しかし、今までのダークなロックというのではない。
なぜか爽やかなポップなテイストも感じられるのだ。
これはGacktの新境地？！だろうか。

　ブラックストーンは、Gacktが常に左手につけているお守りのオニキス
（Gacktがファミリー（スタッフ）にプレゼントし皆が身につけている。
いわばファミリーを象徴するアイテム）を意味し、そしてまた昨年、不慮の事故
で亡くなったスタッフの名前でもあるという。従って、思いをこめた歌詞は、
どこか胸にジンと迫るものがある。それでいて、本当にこれでいいの？
と思うほどに爽快に歌ってしまった。それはどうやら、心の中では君は
いつも側に居てくれるのだからと、吹っ切れた心境のものであるらしい。

　カップリングの♪Ash　は、しっとりと聴かせる曲？と思いきや、こちらも
やがてサビは激しいロック調に。♪BLACK STONEとの相性が良い。

　いよいよGackt world が新しくなった、そんな感じである。

　♪Ａｓｈは、「今度のコンセプトで描こうとしている物語の
あるシーンをイメージして作った曲」だと言う。
ロック調をベースにした広義なバラードといったところか。
緩急のめりはりのあるせいで、スローテンポになった部分の
幻想的な歌詞がすっと入ってくる。特に♪暁の空に浮かぶ陽炎…
のラストのフレーズがつい耳について離れなくなる。
ライブでは皆で一緒に口ずさんでしまうのではないか。
低音のボーカルは艶っぽい。自身でもどちらがメインでも良かった
というこの曲もなかなか素晴らしい。
これから始る物語が楽しみである。
