2004年にリリースした1stシングル「落書き」、2ndアルバム『あすなろ』がともにインディーズチャートの上位を記録し、続くツアーも各地で超満員と話題のSBPF。さらなる活躍が期待される05年の第1弾となるマキシシングルをリリース。初めての試みとしてサウンドプロデューサーを起用、森山直太朗らを手掛ける中村太知氏を迎え、さらに磨きのかかったギターサウンドを聴かせている。

2002年より現メンバーで活動する4人編成バンドのセカンド・マキシ。森山直太朗を手がける中村太知をアレンジャーに迎えているが、ヴォーカル&サウンドはバンド版はなわというべきか。パンキッシュでストレートで爽快……等身大の仕上がりといえる。

収録の曲、すべて、良かったです。大村さんの歌声は、想像以上に美しく、心に染み入りました。メロディーも歌詞も良いです。特に表題曲は、語りかけるように歌われていて、励まされます。
