岩井俊二監督が自ら作曲した『花とアリス』のサウンドトラックです。
映画のあの独特の雰囲気・・・音楽の影響も大きいと思いますが、
監督が自分で作曲しているのがすごいなぁと思います。
映像ぴったりの何だか切なくレトロな雰囲気の曲です。
シンプルさけどかわいらしい、春にぴったりです。
若い女の子の心情をきれいに象徴的にあらわしている曲だと思います。

お気に入りの曲は・・・「花とアリス」と「sweetie・密会」です。

切なくて、懐かしくて、そして優しい気持ちになれる音楽です。
女の子が落ち込んだり、喜んだり、泣いちゃったり・・・そんな気持ちが音楽になったという感じ。
弦の包み込むような優しい音色にピアノのかわいらしい調べ・・・聴いていてとても心地良いです。
これを聴きながら見る景色はいつもよりきらきらしているような気さえ起きてしまいます。
映画を観た方がより楽しめますが観ていなくてもこれだけで楽しめると思います。それくらい良い。
個人的には「ウヲアイニ・アラベスク」が大好きです。

何と言うか、癒されるというよりは、救われる音楽という感じがして、素晴らしくて言葉もない。大袈裟ではなく、生きているうちにこの音楽に出会えて良かった。岩井俊二の感性は、人間が本来最大限に表現したいと願っている「あらゆるものに対する優しさと人間としての美しさ」を常に大切にしていて、日々俯いて、疲弊して生きている人々の顔をふうっ、と優しく見上げさせる力を持っていると思う。8曲目の「ウヲアイニ」と12曲目の「花の想い」が個人的にとても好き。ピアノはやはりいい。岩井俊二を好きな人も、そうでない人も、この音楽だけは、是非聴いてみて欲しい。
