イタリアンハードコアレジェンドRAW POWERの1stアルバム!! ハードコア好きならコレ聴いてないと駄目っすよ♪　｢STATE OPPRESSION｣で初期衝動爆発です。リアルな怒りを真空パックしたハードコアパンクの名盤!! 鮮度は落ちません(笑)
12inch「YOU ARE THE VICTIM」(実質これが1st？)と音質がだいぶ異なります。だいぶ洗練され聴き易くなり、更にメタリックになってます。

８１年にMauroとGiuseppeを中心に結成されたＨＣバンド。
イタリアンＨＣといえば真っ先に思い浮かぶのがWRETCHEDかコイツらでしょう。全米ツアーを敢行するなど「世界」を視野に入れた活動暦からもWRETCHEDが「裏番」なら彼らは「表番」って感じ。
今作は８５年の２nd「Screaming From The Gutter」と翌８６年の３rd「After Your Brain」のカップリング盤。

一聴して、全てにおいて前半（２nd）の方が上ですね。
初期と較べて、かなりメタリックになりギターフレーズなんかモロにメタルなトコも見られるけど、ＨＣとしてのアグレッションは微塵も衰えていない。
独特の「カウベル」が妙にポップでいい感じです。
聴き所は「State Oppression」「My Boss」「Power」「Raw Power」「Our Oppression」等が最高！

欲を言えば、WRETCHEDみたいに母国語で歌って欲しかったな。イタリア語のＨＣってブチ切れた感じが最高なんで・・・。
因みに私は文句無く「WRETCHED」派です~！
