洗濯乾燥機（ななめ型ドラム式）について
特徴
もっともポピュラーなドラム式洗濯乾燥機。ゆるやかに傾斜したボディー前面に開閉口がある。ドラムを回転させ、持ち上げた洗濯物をドラム内下部に溜まった洗浄液に落下させて洗う「たたき洗い」方式を採用。撹拌（かくはん）しないので衣類がからみにくく、高濃度の洗浄液で洗うため、しつこい汚れもしっかり落ちる。また、乾燥機能は機種によりさまざまで、花粉を除去したり、タンブラー乾燥できないバッグや靴などを乾かせるものもある。洗濯から乾燥まで一括して仕上げたい、忙しい人におすすめ
長所
・深くかがまずに洗濯槽の奥まで手が届くので、衣類の出し入れがしやすい
・少量の水で洗濯でき、経済的
短所
・タテ型洗濯機と比べると運転時間がやや長め（+10数分程度）
・設置場所によっては、補強板や排水ユニットなど別売の部材が必要
