4.0 out of 5 stars Officeプレインストールが意外にポイント高し, 2005/3/9
お絵かきマシンにできないかと思って、購入しました。タブレットパネルの所為か、液晶も角度でわりと色が変わるので、本格的に絵を描くよりは、ノートやスケッチブックみたいに割り切って使った方が良いと思います。
ただ、画面に直接書き込みができるというのは、その辺を打ち消すくらい楽しいです。プレインストールされているOne Noteは、画面に書き込むことを前提に作ってあるような操作感が良く、スクラップブック的な使い方ができます。
メモリが最初から512MB積んであったり、プレインストールソフトが充実していたりノートPC プラスアルファという風にみれば、割とお得だと思います。もうちょっと軽くてバッテリ駆動時間が長ければ、という部分で差し引いて星４つです。

タブレット機能は普段の作業ではあんまり使わない。
ネットもメールも表作成もキーボードとマウスを使った方が早い。
基本的には立ちながらノートを使う人、絵を描く人、、、くらいにしかおすすめできないが、そういう人には是非試して欲しい。
きっと楽しくて、面白くて病み付きになります。

タブレット機能に加え、普通のノートとしても使える点は非常に便利。
コストパフォーマンスも良い（ここまでは☆５つ）。
但し、付属ソフトは微妙（星１つ減）。

<減点箇所>
・プレインストールソフトが多すぎる(しかも役立たず）。
・そのくせ、グラフィックソフトはかなり貧弱。
PhotoshopElements3.0は重いし、ペンの書き味もあまりよくない。

結局、私は「Alias Sketchbook Pro」を購入。
今の所タブレットPCのペン機能に対応したお絵かきソフトはこれしかない。
どうせならこっちを付けて欲しかった。

今は快適に使えてます♪

タブレットPCは初めてでしたが、文字認識技術は進んでいたんですねえ、この文章もペンで書いていますが期待以上に認識してくれています。付属のオフィス One note は使ってみると面白いです。セレロンM1.4GHz、メモリ512MBですので普通のノートPCとして可不足なく使えます。液晶パネルは14インチで1024x768なので情報量はそこそこですが見やすいと思います。2層 DVD+R書きこみ、DVD一RAMの書き込みにも対応しています。難点としては2.8kgと持ち運びに不向きな点ぐらいと思います。
