一本買うつもりで悩んでいました。色々調べるうちに「リアル音」「特徴を再現」である事に気付き、悩みを通り越し、ベイダーとあわせて買いました。スイッチオン時、オフ時もリアルに光が伸縮し、音も本物同様。クラッシュ音も二本あわせたときは感動モノ!!部屋を暗くして楽しみましたが、天井が広くないと思いっきり振れなかった。妻と子供に呆れられながらも、嬉しくておしっこでそうでした。

これはもう「おもちゃ」ではありません。
価格、クオリティを考えても「工芸品」に近いですね。
光刃が伸縮し、あのセイバー音による起動の瞬間を見れば
大の大人でも童心に帰れること請け合いです。

動作は単三乾電池３つ。以前に販売されていたものは６つ必要だったので
かなりの省エネ改良が加えられたようです。
また光刃部分の技術もＥＬシートからＬＥＤに変更することで
伸縮のギミックを実現し、寿命も飛躍的に延びました。
ポリカーボネート製で、少々の衝撃には耐えられます（さすがに
チャンバラは難しい…。ポッキリ折れたという報告多数）。
グリップ部分はさすがはレプリカ専門メーカーだけあり精巧です。
台座も同梱されているので観賞用にも耐えうる製品ですね。

振り回せば、映画から転用したサウンドが鳴ります。
音はそれほど大きくありませんが、動体センサーの働きで
動きにあわせて鳴るので興奮度は高いです。
価格は決して安くはありませんが、クオリティを考えれば安いですね。
2005年現在ではこのＭＲ社のFXセイバーが最高レベルだと思います。
ファンなら買って損はありません！全長110cmの圧倒的な重量感と
存在感を感じてみてください。

やっとこの商品を手に入れることができました。
なかなか手に入らない理由として、アメリカからの完全輸入商品という理由があります。光るソードの部分は別として柄の部分は通関検査が必要らしく、また玩具は検査の優先順位も低い為（日用品に比べれば当たり前ですが）、なかなか手に入りずらいのもこの理由とか。
一時のＳＷブームは去った感はありますが、商品を手にしスイッチを入れた時、あの独特のサウンドと共に根元から光が伸びる様子は感動です。
家族からは冷ややかな反応でしたが、非常に満足しています。
ただ、本気でチャンバラをすると根元から折れるので要注意。クラッシュ音も本物と同じく鳴るようになっていますが、壊れるのが心配でまだチャンバラはできていません。どうやって遊ぶかは現在検討中です。
