晴れた日曜日の朝、これをかけながら愛車を転がすのが
何よりのﾘﾗｯｸｽﾀｲﾑだった時期があった。
今では3人もいる子供の相手でそうそう好き勝手はできないにしても
時折、FMで流れてくると思わず聴き入ってしまう自分がいる。
今度の夏休み、子供も乗っけて何処か遠くまで走ってみようか。
目的地も決めず、ただただこれをくり返し流しながら。
おそらく女房は呆れて助手席で昼寝を決め込むことだろうが。

96年のツアーはこのシングル発売に伴ってだった。
ジョージ・ハリスンとボブ・ディランっぽい味付けが施された代表作。
後にベスト盤に収録されたがオリジナルアルバムには未収(股旅に再録音バージョン収録)。
同時期にパフィもデビュー。ソロ活動開始から一年とちょっとで奥田は一気に一時代を引っ張る存在になりつつあった。

B面のルパン三世の歌というカヴァー選曲が渋いんだなこれが。民生ミュージックとしてもしっくりきてますね。一聴の価値有りです。
