スーパーカーは文字通り、ロード感があるバンドだった。
そして、青空、雲、緑など自然が似合うバンドだった。
私は、ハイウェイをバスに揺られ「A」を聴きながらそう思った。

空に広がる雲の隙間から覗く青空、または雲の隙間から緑の景色を照らす太陽光。
そしてハイウェイをロードするスピード。
それらこそがスーパーカーだった。

改めて聴いてみて、初めてスーパーカーが提示してた音楽が解ったような気がした。
青い鳥のような話だが、スーパーカーは立ち止まって聴く音楽ではなかったのだ。
未来に向かい、光のように、ブレーキをかけずに走った彼らの足跡を、
同様にハイウェイを疾走し、天を見上げながら聴くことをお勧めします。
雲が近いほど崇高感が増すので、標高が高いハイウェイがお勧めです。

スーパーカーのAサイドベスト。
全曲リマスタリング。
響きはいいですが、皆さんの言う通り、
ファンにはあまりありがたくないベスト。
しかし、スーパーカーを聴いてみたいという方には、
最適なベストアルバム。
スーパーカーを知らない人でも、ピンポンに使われた楽曲は
知っているでしょう。さらに、ほかのスーパーカーの曲の
シングル曲もすべて入っているので、
正にスーパーカー入門盤といえるでしょう。
だから、このCDから聴き深めていくといいでしょう。
まあ、スーパーカーの活動7年半をギッチリ詰めた、
このCDは彼らに興味を持ち始め
これを読んでくださったあなたにオススメということです。

最初と最後で曲風が全然違う。
初期の頃は、詞が分かりやすくて、いいし、
後期は、テクノな曲風がおしゃれで良い。
でも、それ全部含めてスーパーカー。
まさに、スーパーカーの歴史を知るには良いアルバムですね。

既に解散してしまっているのが本当に残念。
作詞、作曲、男女のボーカル。
これが揃って良い曲になっていると思うので、
この先、彼らの新しい曲が聞けないのは悲しいです。
