『紙ジャケット仕様』が売りでビクターエンタテインメントがリリース。それも延期、延期で半年も待たされてリリースされたのが紙ジャケとは程遠いフリップバック仕様（薄い紙でサンプルCDなどを入れてるあれ）買おうと思ってる人は近くのCDショップで一度確認したほうがいいかも。小松崎君のライナーも延期が続いたせいか追記されてるけど目新しいことは書かれてません。音源自体も輸入盤で既発です。（リマスターもされてないようだし）ホント、ジャフベック好きの僕は怒ってます。それにしても日本のCD販売価格は高すぎです。皆さんそう思いません？でも演奏や内容は星100です。

2005.７月国際フォーラムで、久々に拝見したMr.jeff・beckの演奏の凄さに、感激して、彼のアルバムを買い集め、ヤードバーズまで辿ってきました。ブリティッシュ・ロックの原点とも言われる彼等！
今、聴くには少し古いのでは？と思ったけれど、とんでもない！
古いなんて言わせない！むしろ先鋭的なのでは！！
面白い曲が、多くて興味がより多く沸く沸く！
1966年に作られたなんて、びっくり！
ある意味？プログレの原点とも言えるのでは？？

こういうアルバムは評価するのが難しい。
アルバム自体は昔からよく知られたブリティッシュロックの好作品だし、
結局買う人は紙ジャケという体裁を買う人が多いのではないだろうか。
だとすればこれは買うには覚悟がいるアルバムだと言える。
他のメーカーの出来の良い紙ジャケに比べるのも悪いような粗悪な出来で
この値段とっちゃあいかんでしょう。
延期に延期を重ねたため、勢いで買ってしまったようなものだが、
はっきり言って後悔しております。
そういう訳でこのアルバムを聞いたことがなくどんなものでも紙ジャケで
欲しいというこだわりのある人はともかく、そうでないなら通常盤で十分では？
いろいろなものをひっくるめて星は三つ。音楽四つで紙ジャケ二つ。
