4.0 out of 5 stars 目を閉じて聴きたい音楽。, 2005/4/30
印象に残る場面を彩った楽曲の数々だけに、目を閉じて曲を聴いていると画面が自ずと浮かんできます。また普段あまり接する事の無いジャンルだと思いますが、クラシックの良さというものを改めて感じられるアルバムでもあります。「マンフレッド交響曲」や「ピアノ協奏曲」などは全楽章が収められていないので、これを機にCD店のクラシックコーナーに足を運ぶのも一興かもしれません。

惜しまれつつも、既に放送終了してしまった、アニメ『巌窟王』の本編で使用されたクラシック音楽が収録されているアルバムです。
私は購入してから真っ先にパッケージに目を惹かれました。
『巌窟王』らしく、かなりインパクトのあるデザインです！
収録曲ですが、私としては「曲名を見ただけではあまりピンと来ない曲が入ってる」というのが第一印象でした。
私自身、『巌窟王』の本編もまだ少ししか観た事がない為、曲を聴いた段階でどのシーンで使われていたのか、あまりイメージ出来なかったのですが、それでも付属のライナーノーツに記載されてあります通り、前田監督が製作段階でどのシーンにどの曲を使おうか？といった意気込みを感じました。
都合により、マンフレッド交響曲の第３楽章が収録されていなかったのが残念でしたが、全体的に完成度の高いアルバムだと思います。

クラシックと、この作品はピッタリだと思います。
まさに、やられた！！とゆう感じの曲ばかりでした。メジャーな曲も、
巌窟王に使われると、全く違った感じになるのが、面白いですよね。
何話で使われた曲か、記載されているので、忘れてしまった方にも安心して聞けます。
ただ、７曲なので、もう少し＋αが欲しいような感じもしました。
それを覗いたら、ホントに素晴らしい１枚だと思います。
クラシック初心者の方にも、オススメしたいです。
