honestyやchange the world、last christmas、desperadoなど…
原曲も、もちろんすばらしいのですが、佐藤竹善のカバーの方が
好きと言う方も多いのではないでしょうか。
世の中にカバー曲というのはたくさんありますが、彼ほど原曲の良さを
崩す事なく、かっこいいアレンジを効かせるものにはナカナカ巡り会えません。今まで耳にした事はあっても、改めて名曲だったんだと気付かされる１枚です。そして原曲を改めて聴いてみるのも
またイイものです。邦楽は意見が分かれますが、日本語の美しさを
愛する、彼のやさしい気持ちも伝わってきます。

佐藤竹善は最高です。彼を好きになって１０年以上がたちますが、彼への興味は薄れることを知りません。声の伸びやかさ優しさ暖かさは何を歌わせても日本一です。でも彼を知らない人が多すぎる。。またそれがいいのかもしれないけどね・・・。

偶然か個人的な思い入れが強い曲がDVDを含めても
たくさん収録されていたので、ワタシとしてはかなり満足できました。
多分しばらくは、ワタシの車はこればかりリフレインされていると
思います。
どこかで聞いたことのあるメジャーな曲が多かったり
洋楽のカバーにしてもきれいな発音で歌っているし、
嫌味のない作品に仕上がっているのではないかと思いました
