1stｱﾙﾊﾞﾑの完成度が高かったﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞの2ndは駄作が多かったりします。
きっと前作を上回ろうとする意欲故、余計なところにｱﾚﾝｼﾞを加えたりして逆に個性を殺す結果になってしまうんだろうと思います。

さて、1stｱﾙﾊﾞﾑの衝撃が大きかったといえばこのﾌﾗｯﾄﾊﾞｯｶｰですが、中でも注目されたのがVoの雅樹の歌と歌詞でした。
この2ndｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ「餌」では、他のﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞが使わない過激な言葉を選んだ歌詞は相変わらずなのですが、前作の歌詞が過激さの中に知性を感じたものが多かったの対し、幾分今のHIP HOPｸﾞﾙｰﾌﾟのような言葉遊び的な雰囲気が感じられます。
故に面白い歌詞を書くなと思う反面、ちょっと聴いてて恥ずかしくなる歌詞もあります。
このｱﾙﾊﾞﾑを最後に彼らはE.Z.Oとなり、雅樹の日本語の歌詞を聴く機会は失われてしまうのですが、ﾌﾗｯﾄﾊﾞｯｶｰがもっと続いていたら一体どんなﾒｯｾｰｼﾞを投げかけてくれていたのか興味はつきません。

曲の方は全編ﾌﾙﾊﾟﾜｰで昌洋のｼﾞｬｷｼﾞｬｷGが不思議なﾘﾌを刻み、ﾌﾙｽﾋﾟｰﾄﾞの本間のﾂｰﾊﾞｽとｶﾞﾝｶﾞﾝ響く太郎のﾍﾞｰｽがモノ凄いﾊﾟﾜｰで疾走します。
雅樹の歌唱力は彼以前からその後現在まで、彼に匹敵するVoはいないのがわかる圧倒的存在感です。

1stACCIDENTと併せて、ﾒﾀﾙﾌｧﾝ必携の1枚です。

よくフラットバッカーはパンクっぽい要素があると聴くがそんなことはない。純粋メタル以外の何物でもない。今でいうsex machingunsのようなボーカル、楽曲はスラッシュ寄り。詩も遊び心が垣間見えている。
ラウドネスやアウトレイジよりもカッコよく聴こえます。人それぞれですがね。

戦争(Accident)は未聴なのですが、全体的な印象は、キャッチフレーズ通り、スラッシュ・メタル、パンク・ロック、ハードロックの融合といったところでしょうか?最初聴いた時は、ヴォーカルは凄い上手いしカッコいいと思いましたが、楽曲はこれといって速いといってもさほどでもないな。と勝手に解釈していましたが、山田さんのウ゛ォーカルをフューチャーするにはこれくらいのスピードがいいと思いましたね。 洋楽のエクストリームメタルばかり聴いてきた私にとっては、非常に新鮮で新たな発見でした。恥ずかしながらラウドネス、アンセム、ユナイテッド、アウトレイジくらいしかジャパメタを聴いた事がなかったのです。 もう、このバンドは存在してませんが私がもっと早く産まれて彼らに出会っていたら、確実に衝撃を受けたでしょうね。
