ユニットの名前通り“風”が吹きそうなシングルが到着。真っ青に晴れ渡った空を駆ける、爽快で清々しい風のようなナンバーに慶太の透明感ある伸びやかな歌声が飛んでいく。サウンドの中をキラキラと発色する陽光にも似たポジティヴで燦々とした光を感じられる一曲だ。春らしく、前向きなハート宿る楽曲に思わず足を踏み出したくなる。カップリング・ナンバーはほんのりオトナっぽい彼らを感じさせる情熱のギターが鳴り響き、ブレイクビーツで彩られたちょっぴり切ない歌。少年からオトナへと進化する彼らを感じさせる一枚。 (えびさわなち) --- 2005年04月号

まず歌詞がとてもきれいです。１つ１つの言葉から色々な情景が浮かんできます。
この「変わりゆく空」は、柴崎コウさんの「かたちあるもの」（ドラマ「世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ」の主題歌）を作られた小松清人さんが作詩・作曲を手がけられているので、そういう意味では歌詞が深いのもうなずけます。

イントロから柔らかく優しい曲調の中に、慶太くんの丁寧な歌い方が心に染みます。今回も高音域に渡る曲ですが、慶太くんはまったく危なげなく歌いこなしてくれており、成長を感じました。

涼平くんと龍一くんのラップはありませんが、２人ともますます厚みを帯びてきた美しいコーラスで、強力に慶太くんのメインボーカルを際立たせてくれています。このコーラスがなくては！という感じです。

本当にw-inds.は３人でこそw-inds.なんだなぁと改めて思いました。

変わりゆく空は下記にレヴューされた方々が評価するように本当にステキです。
ベスト音域で声がすごくすごく良いです。
それに頭の中に残りやすい。
一度聴くと、寝る前とかに浮かんできちゃうような。

それから、カップリング。
ラジオで聞いたのですが、これがまた良い！
バラードか？と思いきや結構テンポのある音楽でｗ
切ない感じ。
これもまたベスト音域で雰囲気バッチリです。
コーラスとの兼ね合いも良いと思う。

本当、それぞれの良さがあっていい曲です！どっちも。

　「変わりゆく空」、もともと大好きだったんですが、6月1日に4枚目のアルバム「ageha」がリリースされてから改めて聴きました。やっぱりイイ曲ですね。詩が綺麗なんですよ。そんな詩に3人の声もばっちり合ってます。今の世の中、綺麗事ばかりは言ってられないけれど、物事をこんな風に見たり、感じたり出来たら素敵だなって思います。
　カップリングの「いつか、虹の下で」もイイです。卒業って言うと3月ぐらいなイメージがありますが、自分の気持ちに踏ん切りをつけたりとか、“~から卒業する”なんて言い方もするじゃないですか。そういう意味でも1年聴ける楽曲ではないでしょうか。
　w-inds.初めての方でもどちらも聴きやすくて、納得のいく楽曲だと思います。
