　なぜ？体力値の低下とともに、音楽も安らかになってゆくのか。それはある意味、誰も逃れられない自然なことなのかもしれない。重戦車みたいに、すべてを蹂躙しながら進撃していた彼らのアルバムは、ここで劇的な変化を遂げている。

　50歳まで、あの演奏様式を維持するのは、困難だと思うし、デス声で酷使しすぎた喉にも、これまでの音楽の継続は、30歳を越えた彼らには、難しいだろう。それは理解できる。

　でも、きれいすぎやしないか。やさしすぎではないのか。やすらかすぎではないのか。ラブソングではないのか。同じ演奏集団とは思えない、変貌だった。

　しかし、「これ以前」からの彼らの音楽が大好きなことには変わりがないので、僕はこのアルバムも、好きなんだけど。。。
