サンライズ初(？)の萌えアニメ舞-HiMEの第三巻。
萌えアニメと宣伝していますが、嘘ばっかです(笑)
特に６話で活躍する碧ちゃんこと杉浦碧は、サンライズ色に染まった熱い女の子です。
この作品は萌えアニメならず、燃えアニメと言っても過言ではありません。
ですが、舞-HiME三巻の最大の見せ場は８話にあると思います。
キャッチフレーズの「恋なんて、知りたくなかった」の本当の意味がわかるとても大事な話です。

今までこの作品を見たことが無い人や、一、二巻を見たけどあんま…とお思いの方はこの第三巻までをとりあえず見ておいて欲しいです。
きっと、この作品に対する見方が変わると思います

自称17歳の舞のバイト友達である杉浦碧（でも本当は24歳…）が
正義の味方として神社に封印されていたオーファンと熱いバトルを
繰り広げるのが第３巻の見所。
頭部、尾部、脚部などに鋭利な刃を武装した愕天王は、なつきの
デュラン同様に四速歩行型のチャイルドである。
その雄雄しいまでの流線的なフォルムも美しいが、碧の掛け声で
下半身が二輪戦車モードに変形して突撃など、お約束だが燃える要素もある。
更には碧自身が熟練したHIMEであるため、
斧型エレメント（どちらかというとハルバードっぽいが…）に
よる肉弾戦もＯＫ、杉浦碧役の田村ゆかり嬢による
「正義はぁ~勝ぁ~つ!!!」などの熱いセリフにも注目したい。
他にもクモ型チャイルドのジュリアを使役するHIME、結城奈緒も
登場し、舞や命達とのバトルを繰り広げるのだが、自分的には碧の
方がインパクトが強かった気がする
（HIMEは風華学園関係者にしか存在しない、と思っていたためである）。
まぁ、碧が風華のOGだったので、その違和感も消えたのだが…。
で、ゲーム版の発売はいつなのよ？

このアニメは非常に良くできている。キャラ一人一人の心理描写、戦闘シーン、ストーリー、どれをとっても手抜きが一切感じられず完成度の高い仕上がりとなっている。流石はサンライズといったところだ。
だが、このアニメの放映開始当初から気になっていたことがある。
それは、雑誌やCM等で「舞-HiME」の紹介を見ると、必ずと言っていいほど「萌え」という文字が書いてあることだ。
普通のアニメとして十分に面白い作品なのに、なぜ執拗に「萌え」を強調しようとするのか。
サンライズは「ガンダムSEED」の影響で、最近のアニメは「キャラ売り」でないと売れない、とでも思ったのだろうか。
とにかく、「萌え」を無理矢理組み合わせたようなところがある「舞-HiME」ではあるが、案外普通なので「萌え」嫌いな人も一度は見てほしい。
