過去に発売された５枚のアルバムからの選曲で、これから上松さんを聴こうと思っている人には、お勧めのベストアルバムです。
普段お目にかかる機会が少ない上松さんの姿が見れる嬉しい特典DVD付きで、中でもデビュー当時の上松さんが収録されているのは貴重に思います。

昔からハープの音は好きでした。しかしいざＣＤを買うとなると迷っていましたが、レンタルで上松美香さんのＰＡＳＩＯＮを借りてファンになりました。インディアンハープはとげとげしさが無く、かといって単調すぎず、疲れたときなどに良いと思います。

アルパの演奏を聴いたことはなかったのですが、
クラッシックでお馴染みのグランドハープよりも
軽やかで透明感のある音が特徴のようです。

滝廉太郎のような日本のしっとりとした曲から
コーヒールンバのようなノリのあるラテン系の曲まで
非常によくマッチしているのは、この軽やかさと
透明感のせいなのでしょうか。
会社から帰宅して、夜のリフレッシュタイムに聞いています。

また、付属のＤＶＤには、初期の頃からの彼女の足跡を見ることができます。
最も古い映像には、音と戯れるような彼女を見ることができ、
次の映像には、音を慈しむような彼女を感じます。
そして最後の映像では、アルパと一体となって曲を表現しているようです。

アルパ奏者の演奏を見れるという点でも、お勧めのＣＤです。
