ガンダム、いやロボットアニメの命といえる戦闘シーンを使い回しを続けた革新的な作品。一度の戦闘で同じシーンを3回以上使い回すのは並大抵の精神力ではできない。監督はそうとう精神修行をなさってるね。

当作品の概要はこんな感じです。
この世に自分等以外は、忠実な道具以外の存在を認めず、絶対悪を
貫く組織を、スポーツマンが3歩歩く程度の努力で世界を治めれる
最高頭脳と身体力を備え、この世界の基準では絶対に過ちを犯さない、
何かあってもそれは絶対に他方が悪い事にしてくれる超絶美形の前作
でも出ていた主人公２人が苦しいフリをしながら縦横無尽に一般人の
屍を踏み悪役を虐殺してゆくストーリー。

…冗談と思う人も多いでしょうが、17話現在ではそれ以外の方向が
見えません。そういう話が好きな人にだけお勧めします。
もちろん「○と△カップリング良いー♪いやいや△と×が最高よぉん♪」「▽タンのシャワーシーンﾊｧﾊｧ」
「俺の気に入った＠ガンダム強えー俺最強！」な方々にもお勧め出来ます。

間違っても戦争描写を求める方とか、子供に良い話を見せたい方は無視するのが吉です。

もしこのアニメを見なければならない機会が訪れた時、OPED曲だけ
聞いていれば良いでしょう。

パクリや使い回し、媚売ったキャラなど、自分としても
「これは如何なものか」と思うところがありますが、ただ全体的にはそれほど悪くないと思います。

自分はファースト世代ではないですが、ファースト等も見た事はあります。
ただ、ＳＥＥＤも最初は見ずにバカにしていまいたが、
いざ見てみると、そんなに言うほど悪くないな、と思いました。
特に、テーマに関して言えば、米軍の傘の下で平和平和と叫ぶだけの、
主体性に欠ける日本人に対する皮肉と批判が入っているようで、この辺り結構賛同できるんですが…。

商業的だったりキャラが媚売ってるようなのは、ある意味時代の流れであって、仕方ないかと。
ヲタク文化が経済を動かしかねない時代ですから。
また、キャラで言えば、逆に今の時代にファーストのようなタッチの絵で製作したところで、
一般的に受け入れられるのかと考えれば、普通に考えれば難しいです。

ただ、比較論だけで終わる議論は問題だということです。
１０年２０年たてば価値観は変わるし、主観と客観の使い分けも必要だと思います。

一応、作品自体には星３つです。
