深夜アニメのBECKに曲を提供したアーティスト達のオリジナルバージョンが収録されているかなり豪華な顔ぶれのオムニバス。

各アーティストの良いとこ取りで曲を聞けるのはオムニバスならではですね。

ビークル目当てで買いましたが、どの曲も良かった^^
アニメを見ていた人には少し違和感があるようですが、そんな方は同時発売のanimation BECK soundtrack “BECK”も買って聞き比べてみると吉。
アニメ見てた人もそうじゃない人にもお勧めできる一品です。

アニメ放送自体は終わってしまったけど、
アニメ化したことには成功したんじゃないかな？
様々な楽曲は少なくとも自分のイメージを壊していないし、
むしろ、現在も続いてる連載の持つイメージにも良い意味で
その余韻をもたらすことが出来ていると思うんです。
それだけ自分に大きな心の動きを与えてくれた作品だからこそ
先にこの「ＫＥＩＴＨ」を選択させました。

~「アニメのサントラ」である『BECK』に対して、こちらはその名の通り「オリジナル」サウンドトラック。マンガの『BECK』で実際に登場する曲をモチーフにして、BEAT CRUSADERSをはじめ、TYPHOON24、GOOFY'S HOLIDAYなど、各バンドが制作・レコーディングした音楽群が収録されています。

逆に言えば、アニメで使用された曲（あるいは曲調）や歌声など、「アレが聴きたい」というような先入観に対しては少し裏切るんじゃないかな、と思います。極端な話、コユキが歌っているはずの曲も、このアルバムではコユキ（のVo.）が歌っているとは限りません。

ですが、アニメやマンガを観たことがなかったり、参加しているアーティストが目当てでチョイスしても、『KEITH』は１枚のアルバムとして完成しているのではないかなと思います。どちらか１枚、ということであればこちらをオススメ。
もちろん、両方買って聴き比べてもいいですね(笑)。
