旧バージョンからのアップグレードユーザーですが、なによりも感心したのはPoserからのアニメーションの取り込みです。メニューバーからワンクリックでＯＫ。
例えばPoserで10秒に設定した動きを、従来のShadeのアニメーション機能と同様に10秒で再生したり、30秒で再生したり、逆戻りも設定できます。そのため一度作成した動きの背景を変えるだけで新しいシーンが作成できます。
以前は3Dで作成する人体は、とてもアニメーションに使えるものではありませんでしたが、これなら簡単です。

　このキャンペーン版には、「Shade7 basic ガイドライン」が
付属しています。全くの素人である私でも、一通り操作方法を
覚えることが出来る構成になっているのですが、実のところ操作
説明ばかりで、その意味は詳しく書いて無かったりします。

・・・が、その素っ気無さが、自分自身で意味を調べたり、実験
してみたくなる気分にさせてくれるので、標準添付の入門書とし
ては、思いのほか、良書であるといえます。

　この手のアプリケーションは初めて触るので、比較して意見を
述べる事は出来ないのですが、十分なメモリをつんでいれば、数
年前のＰＣでも、十分なレスポンスを維持することが出来、且つ
ＵＩもなかなか練られていると感じました。
　特に、キーボードとマウスを組み合わせた、柔軟な操作性は、
このソフトの長い（？）歴史を感じさせるものになっています。
