4.0 out of 5 stars 歌詞に身を委ねてみよう, 2006/9/26
メンバーの年齢が若いながら、自分なりの世界感を歌詞と曲に堂々と詰め込んでいるアルバム。
景色や感情を言葉のみで表現させる小説の文章を彷彿とさせるような歌詞が特徴。
たまにメロディーに対しての歌詞の語感が合わない等、少し危なげな印象も受けたが、彼らのやりたい事は伝わってきた。
夕日を見ると、記憶の中の自分と同級生達の学生服が夕日に照らされている姿がついシンクロしてしまう等、そんな「思い出主義者」にはぴったりのアルバム。
移動中等そんな景色の見える場所で歯切れのいいギターサウンドに身を、歌詞に自分の記憶を委ねながらシンクロさせると、なおアルバムの世界に浸れる事でしょう。
小出君がNUMBERGIRL等の歌詞の世界に強く影響受けて、それを自分なりに表現したいのがよく伝わってくる。

良くも悪くも、大人になった彼ら。
個人的に、「夕方~」のようなキラキラ感が薄れてしまったのが残念。
でも、作品としては凄く上手にまとまってると思うので、いいと思います。
歌詞カードのアートワークが、らしくていいですね。雰囲気出てます。

いいんだけど、初期衝動は絶対夕方ジェネレーションの方が凄いと思う。
決して悪くないんだけど、もうちょっとインパクトが欲しかったな。
