普通で情けなくて、地味なジム・キャリーが
本当に好演していて、
私の大好きな映画のひとつになった作品です。

サントラも監督の音楽の趣味が私好みなのか
とても作品にマッチしていて、
音だけを聞いていても映像が浮かんでくるようで
秀逸だと思いました。

音楽的にどうかとか、そういう難しいことは私には分かりませんが
好きな映画のサントラ盤は手元に置いておきたい。
作品を見たあとに、ちょっと思いにふけるのに
すごく「ちょうどよい」です。

日本版の主題歌になっていますがLISAの曲もよいですね。

私は好きです。おすすめします。

エミネム、ニュー・オーダー、本盤についてはそれぞれ対訳、先行発売、ジャケット・デザインの理由で仕方なく日本盤を購入したが、そのすべてにロッキング・オン一派の公害のようなライナー・ノーツが付いていて辟易させられた。大人が音楽から離れるのも無理はないと思う。オリジナル盤の精神を損ねるボーナス・トラックもいらない。本盤に関しては、結局ベックの1曲のために買ったようなものだった。

映画のサントラはよほど気に入らないと買わないのですが…。コレは即買しちゃいました。まず冒頭シーンで流れるピアノの曲がすごく良くて。BECKの主題歌もかなり泣けます。この映画は音楽と映像がすごくマッチしているのでサントラ聴いてるだけで、シーンが頭に浮かんでくる。それがすごく聴いていて気持ちいいです。しかもこの映画の構造自体観るたびに発見があるというか、噛めば噛むほど面白いみたいな映画なので、サントラを聴いて映画を繰り返し観て…という楽しみ方が出来ると思います。私はまだ2回しか映画を観ていませんが、1回観た後かなりサントラを聴いて、それで2回目観に行ったのですが、すごく映画が奥深く楽しめました。はやくDVDが欲しいです。
サントラは国内版がオススメ。LISAのCM曲が入っていて、それがまた可愛いので。あとこのサントラを手がけている人は確か「パンチドランクラブ」も手がけた人だったと思うので、そちらも参考になるかと思います。「パンチ~」の曲もかなり実験的で、でも映像には不思議と合う！っていう傑作だったので…。
