合唱が本当に大好きで、しつこく歌ってきた５０代の者です。

合唱を離れて最近合唱なんてしていない方へ、このＣＤはいかがでしょうか。
また、愛唱歌を歌いたいのだけれど一人では歌えないし・・・・、という方にもオススメします。ＣＤの上手な合唱団に混じって一緒に歌うという醍醐味が味わえますよ。

我々の世代にとっての愛唱歌であったあの懐かしい「わたりどり」、「遥かな友に」、「夜のうた」をもう一度聴いてみませんか。
指揮者も合唱も日本を代表するものばかりですので、お手本となると思います。

男声合唱は一曲だけですが、多田武彦の「雨」が収録されています。全日本合唱コンクール金賞を重ねた頃の京都産業大学グリークラブの重厚なハーモニーがそこにありました。京都を中心に活躍された尾形光雄さんのソロは、押さえた表現の中に八木重吉の詩のすがすがしさを表しています。

最近本当に良く歌われている木下牧子の「夢見たものは・・」も当間修一さんの日本語を大切にする解釈が光りますし、武満徹の心温まる小品「小さな空」も是非お聴き下さい。女声合唱の名曲「落葉松」も木下保さんの指揮による名演奏ですし、東京混声合唱団による「風の子守唄」も爽やかな合唱です。

冒頭は、「水のいのち」より神戸中央合唱団の「雨」で、早くに亡くなられた根津弘さんのお名前を見て、あの頃の名演奏が蘇ってきました。
ラストは佐藤眞の名曲「大地讃頌」のオーケストラバージョンです。どの曲も歌ったことがある曲ばかりで、様々な音楽シーンが目の前によぎってきます。
本当に合唱関係者なら一度は歌ったことがある名曲揃いですね。オススメします。過去の名曲を再び口ずさんでください。
