外出時にバッテリーが切れたときのことを考えて購入しました。
自分的には当初予想していたよりたいして重くならず
デザインも純正だけあってそんなに不格好でもなくなかなかいいと思います。
外部バッテリーでしのげるのがいいと思って買ったので重さとか格好が悪くなるかなと
思っていたのですけど、思っていたより問題なかったです。
まあ元々が超軽量なので、それからすれば重くなることはなるんですけど。
バッテリーが切れて充電もできないようなときにこれを持っていれば
アルカリなどで簡単にしのげるのでなかなかいいと思います。
サードパーティのものでもっと安いものもありますけど、
こっちのほうがデザインなどアップルらしくて自分は好きですね。
もう少し安ければ五つ星ですが、アップル製品は全体に若干高めの
値段設定なのでこんなものかと思います。

~このバッテリーパックを装着すると、バッテリーパックの電源が優先的に使用されます。
iPodなどに内蔵されているリチウムイオン充電池は、充放電を繰り返すほどバッテリー容量が低下していきます。
ですので、iPod~~ shuffleを長く使いたいという人は、セコイやり方ですが、
なるべくこれを装着して使用するようにすればバッテリー寿命の延命対策になります。

バッテリーパック自体はもう少し安いと嬉しいです。~

電池を入れると少し重たいので、シャッフルを買った理由が『軽いから』な人にはいただけない重みだと思います。
ＵＳＢ内蔵電池を長生きさせるためにはいいかと思いますが、本体価格+電池代を考えると512Ｍ利用中の方は内蔵電池がだめになったら新しいシャッフルをかうといったほうがいいような気もします。
今現在、長時間再生でバッテリーが日常的にあがってしまう人以外には必要ないように感じます。
