　ジョギングの際にiPod shuffle を首にかけて使用していますが、汗による故障を防止する目的でこのケースを購入しました。
　薄くて軽いものをイメージしていましたが、実物は、予想していたより厚みがあり、重たい感じがします。（iPod shuffle＋ケースで約５５ｇでした。）iPod shuffle のみを首からかけるとほとんど重さを感じませんが、このケースに装着すると随分違う気がします。首にかけてのジョギングには不適当のようです。
ケースに本体を装着すると、電源を入れたり切ったりすることができませんので、本体の電源は装着前に入れておく必要があります。

iPod Shuffle自体はUSBメモリーと変わりませんから、外での使用はやはり心配でした。
衝撃や雨、また本体が真っ白なだけに、汚れも気になるところです。

このスポーツケースは、それらを文字通りカバーしてくれる優れもの。
先ほど届いたので早速iPod Shuffleを入れてみたのですが、純正品だけに大きさもぴったり。
シェイプもさすがアップル、洗練されています。
付属のネックストラップが安っぽかっただけに、これは評価できますね。

背面のオフ・プレイのスイッチ切り替えができないという面はありますが、
私のように満員の通勤電車で使用する人には全く問題ありません。

ただし、首からかけるとiPod Shuffleだけの時と違って、しっかり重さを感じます。
お値段も結構しますから、この２点がネックと言えばネックかな。

外観にこだわりたい方、機動性を確保したい方にはお勧めです。
見た目と機能は本当、いいですよ。

何人かの方が書いているようにケースの外から電源OFFが出来ないのが辛いところです。しかしエアロバイク等をこぎながらの使用（汗から本体を守る）という個人的な目的にはかなってるので、愛用していこうと思います。※ジョギングには腕にバンドで固定するタイプが良さそうです。
意外に良かったのは他社製のイヤホンやヘッドホンを使う時に使用する短い延長ケーブル。今愛用しているコード長50cm弱のイヤホンだと、長さが足りなくて首からぶら下げた時に本体が傾いてしまうんですが、これを使う事で丁度良い感じになります（iPod shuffle純正のネックストラップ使用時も同様）。市販の延長ケーブルだと1m位の物が殆どで、逆にケーブルが余り過ぎてしまうんですよね。
