5.0 out of 5 stars ビデオ版の解説書は要チェック！, 2007/6/12
NHKで放送された小池朝雄による素晴らしい吹き替えを収録した完全版。当時の吹き替えがない部分や表現を自主規制した部分は銀河万丈による新録で補っている。
以前に出ていたビデオテープ版には解説書が付いていて、吹き替えキャストが詳細に記載されており、資料価値が高かったが、このDVD版ではずいぶんと省略されてしまっている。
特にVol.7以降は追加収録のキャストの記載はまったくない（追加収録した事実を隠したいのか？）。
非常に残念です。
仕方がないので中古のVHSを購入しました。

シリーズ化される前の単発版「殺人処方箋PRESCLIPTION MURDER」(1967年)と、シリーズ化に向けてのパイロット版「死者の身代金RANSON FOR A DEADMAN」（1971年）の２本が収録されている。
「殺人＊」ではピーター・フォーク４０歳。髪もきれいな七三分けだし、コロンボの「あの風体」はまだ出来上がっていないが、犯人が完全犯罪をもくろんだ話をコロンボが解き明かしていくという流れは既に出来上がっている。「死者の＊」ではこれ以降の「コロンボ」のキャラクターが完全に出来上がっている。
有名俳優がコロンボとしのぎを削るワルとしてゲスト出演するのは毎回の楽しみな約束事。

この２本をみせられたら、「刑事コロンボ」がシリーズ化された理由や、多くのファンをいまだに魅了し続ける理由が判る。

長期にわたって作られた人気シリーズで一番面白いのはやっぱり初期の作品だろうと勝手に思っているのだが、こと「男はつらいよ」と「コロンボ」に関しては自信を持って断言できる。みんな若くて緊張しているのがいい。手探りでやっていて、パターン化されていない演出と芝居がいいのだ。１作目といっても、二つともパイロット版であるが、レギュラー版と基本的に違いはない。共に犯罪者の肖像を描くという命題を見事に果たし、なおかつ犯人逮捕にいたる意外性も満たしている良作である。必見。
