JADOESとしてデビューし、その素晴らしいポップセンスで一時は注目されたものの、衰退してしまっていた藤沢秀樹氏がDANCE☆MANとなって活躍を始めてしばらく経ってから、驚きの仕事が舞い込みました。
それがこの「LOVEマシーン」。
どっかで聴いたことのある洋楽のフレーズがバンバン入っているのは彼なりのご愛嬌。
彼の仕事はもっと評価されてもいいんじゃないですかね。
金澤寿和氏選曲のJADOESのベストも出てますので是非そちらもどうぞ。
ちなみにラッパを吹いてるのは桑野信義氏(RATS & STAR)です。
桑野氏はこのことをTV等でもあまり喋っていないので知らない方も多いかも(クレジットはKUWA☆MAN)。

紅白での19人パフォーマンスも素晴らしかったLOVEマシーンッ！
ま、あれについてはオタの間で賛否ありすぎたので何にもいわぬが。。
この曲はやっぱり神がやどってる。かっこいい。
無条件ではしゃげる、さわげる、テンションあがる----！

この当時のメンバーも見事に全員消えましたが、今のメンバーで
全然セルフじゃないセルフカバーして欲しいです、CDで。
ゼンゼン有りだと思う。

外部のライターをあんまり使わない印象が強いこの会社ですが
この作品ではダンス☆マンをチョイスし見事に、
楽曲の持つパンチの効いた世界観を、拡張させています。最高
すばらしいデッス。これまでのコーラス路線からは大幅にズレて
リレー形式になっていて、個々のキャラが色とりどり登場する様が
軽快で耳にもたのしい。ほんとうに素晴らしい歌、好き歌。

ただこの曲が良くも悪くも分岐点だったコトは
確かで、「国民的アイドル」という実体のない訳不明の異名を
つけられてしまったがために、
一般の層を取り込め切れない「いま」みたいな現状を見て「落ちた。」と
中傷されてしまっている訳で。

でも考えてみてよ。モーニング娘。って結局、昔からやってるコトは
変わらない訳よ。この曲だって、当時は「今の時代にディスコ？」的な
空気は確かにあったのに、時代の中でいつだって常に浮いている
それがモーニング娘。だと思う。だから落ち目落ち目って
言わないで下さい！！なんちゃって。。

まあ、別にどうでもいいんだけど、要は最高ってコト。
馬鹿っぽいケド、憎めない。ダサダサだけど、なんか魅力的
それがモーニング娘。であり、それがLOVEマシーンなんだってコト。
それだけは10年後も変わらない事実。
