私的には１４話がお気に入りです。
前半のムゲンの回想シーンは本当に鳥肌ものでした。美しい作画と音楽に魅了されっぱなしで、今まで見たサムライチャンプルーの話の中で私は一番好きな話です。
後半のジンとムクロの戦闘も動きがキレていて良い。
ラストの取り方は人それぞれだとは思いますが、私は最初見た時、コザに対してのムゲンの唯一の仕打ちだと考えました。
しかし、あれはムゲンの優しさだと解釈する方もいるようですね…。
答えがどちらかはわかりませんが、とても満足な話でした！

今回の話で注目すべきは、ムゲンが海に落ちていくシーンだと思う。そこにながれる朝崎郁恵さんの『おぼくり~ええうみ』の唄が染み入った。今回は裏切りに裏切りを重ねる話だけど、生きる為の裏切りであり、道徳的に「悪」と割り切れない現実臭さがずっとしていました。こういうことって、今の生きている自分にも起きることがあると思ってしまったから。ジンの落ち着いた立ち振る舞いが今回の唯一の救いなのかもしれない。

これに収録される１３話と１４話は必見です。
映像音楽ともに最高です!!!!
１４話の前半のムゲンの回想シーンははじめてテレビで見た時ほんとうに鳥肌がたちました。
なのでDVDが出るのずっと待ってました!!いまから発売が待ち遠しいです。
