その曲のほとんどが一発録りで、生のグルーヴ感が伝わってくる。
完成度が低いという人もいるかもしれないが、ＳＲＶの作品の中では臨場感という点においてこのアルバムに勝るものはないと思う。
ギターサウンドにおいては、後期に比べるとそれほど凝っていないＳＲＶオリジナルな音が聞ける。

当時やっていたライブをそのままスタジオに持ってきた、オーバーダブ無しのピュアなトリオサウンド。
デビュー前におこなってきたライブ数はかなりのものだったので
ファーストとはいえこのアルバムがスティーヴィーのピークだったのでは？
名盤です。
