ブギーのJUICE，スローバラードのTENDER SURRENDER，重低音リフのBAD HORSIE,JIMIに宛てたすごくきれいなメロディのTHE BOY FROM SEATTLE，リズムをトコトン追求したKILL THE GUY WITH THE BALL/THE GOD EATERS，SteveらしいソロのDIE TO LIVE，長男ジュリアン君の声をサンプリングしたVo.のかわいらしいがソロがすごくかっこいいYA-YO GAKKとどれもすばらしい曲です。STEVEの初めてのシングルギター（オーバーダヴィングがすごく少ない）でのミニアルバムです。ミニアルバムですが、内容はごまかしの一切ないレベルの高い作品です。Juiceは弾けると他ギタリストが皆、凄いと驚く、そんな曲です。タッピングの妙技を聴け!!!!!

１９９５年リリースの「セックス＆レリジョン」に次ぐアルバム・・・性格的にはボーナスアルバムと言って良いでしょう！！全編インスト（赤ちゃんのサンプリング除く・・・笑）で、「フレクサブル」的な実験的アプローチと「パッション＆ウォーフェア」的なインストスタイルをミックスした仕上がりです・・・ロック色が強いので御安心を。１曲目「ＢＡＤＨＯＲＳＩＥ」邦題：悪魔のギタリストジャックバトラーは、彼が出演した「クロスロード」で披露した「汽車の音」を思わせるリフをモチーフにしたヘヴィなナンバー。２曲目は師匠ジョーサトリアーニを彷彿させるブギーな曲。５曲目「ヤーヨーガー」は邦題：愛しのばぶばぶファイヤー、凄いセンス・・・自分のお子ちゃまがお話した内容をサンプリングして曲に仕上げていると言う超絶曲！！この曲の「ヤーヨーガー」をいつのまにか口ずさむ自分が恐いです・・・インパクトありますよ！！ラストを飾る「テンダーサレンダー」は、彼のギターが冴えわたる美しいバラード・・・この曲でのオルガンはトミーマーズ（元フランクザッパ！！）８曲目は日本盤のボーナストラック・・・曲にしてしまう才能に脱帽！！彼のギタープレイを充分楽しめるいいアルバムです！！

この中で、一番凄いのが#5である。
当時はまだしゃべる事すら出来なかった自分の子供
（今では立派な少年・実際に会った！）の声をサンプリングし、
そのデータを切ったり張ったり並べたり…。出来上がった曲がこれである。
あたかも赤ん坊が歌っているかのように聴こえる。
#8は、どこか解釈を間違えた(?)ヴァイ流の３・３・７拍子。

全体的にロックしており、聴き所も沢山ある。
思わず「おぉ~」と思ってしまうプレイも随所に登場する。

全曲インストなのだが、本当に凄い。
ギターと言う楽器を知り尽くした男だからこそ創れた名盤である。
