曲目リストでは作曲者名を省略していますが、行進曲「新潟」は、なんと湯浅譲二作曲。
三人の会（黛、芥川、團）のマーチを揃え、湯浅譲二作品を加えて
「ベスト（戦後編）」としたあたり、選曲にひと工夫あり、好企画だと思います。
「キスカマーチ」が新録音で聞けるのも喜ばしい限り。

　日本のマーチ･ベスト戦前篇に続いて今度は戦後篇。
良かれ悪かれいかにも「軍隊の行進曲」という感じが強かった戦前篇に比べて
全体的に軍隊離れしている感じで、「行進のため」のマーチというよりかは
「聴く」ためのマーチという感じで、個人的には薄味の曲が多い印象を受けた。
それが悪いとか良いとかは別として、相変わらずの演奏クオリティの高さは
「戦前篇」と全く変わっておらず、気持ちの良い演奏が楽しめる。

1.栄誉礼「冠譜」及び「祖国」と2.巡閲の譜は、陸上自衛隊による特別儀仗（諸外国の元首、高官、日本では総理大臣等）の際にしか聞くことのできない曲である。3.大空及び6.行進曲「凱旋」は陸上自衛隊の儀制曲として使われているが、これらも一般には馴染みの無い曲だと思う。こうした曲が収録されており、資料として貴重だと思う。
