放送から22年が経つのに、未だ人気の衰えない『ボトムズ』。放送当時に3枚のサントラLPが出たが、この3枚組CDはLPをベースに収録可能な楽曲をすべて集めた完全版。ハードな内容に合ったジャズ&フュージョンの音楽は今でも新鮮。ファンなら買って損なし!

ＢＧＭ集１・２・３に未収録曲と主題歌のカラオケを加えての復刻です。未収録曲のほうは２０年くらい前にはじめてＣＤ化された際に、キャンペーンでプレゼントされた「日本サンライズ未収録ＢＧＭ集」に収録されてた曲ですのでそれほど曲数は多くありません。実際の商品は１ＣＤあたり４０曲以上収録されていますが、旧盤の１トラックをＭナンバーごとにトラック分けしただけで曲数が増えたわけではありません。

ガンダムなどの総音楽集は下手に曲順をいじったせいでサントラとしての完成度を下げていましたが、こちらのＣＤは未収録曲を挟みながらも基本的に旧盤の収録順を変えずに収録してますので好印象です。

予想通りレッドショルダーマーチは収録されていませんが、この曲はＰＳ用ゲームソフト「青の騎士ベルゼルガ物語」に収録されていて、ＣＤプレイヤーで再生できますので聴きたい方はそちらを探してみてください。

この「装甲騎兵ボトムズ 総音楽集」は過去に発売されている「装甲騎兵ボトムズ　BGM集Vol.1,2,3」をまとめ、さらに未収録曲を追加した３枚組のものです。
「装甲騎兵ボトムズ　BGM集Vol.1,2,3」の所有有無にかかわらず、ボトムズファンには必須のCDです。

レッドショルダーマーチは入ってないのか・・・。

という代物だから永久に無理かな・・・。

旧Vol.1〜3を持っている者にとっては微妙な代物です。
旧版では1つのトラックに数曲がまとめて入っていたのが、曲ごとにトラックが分かれているだけですから。

追記。
レッドショルダーマーチは映画「Due Marines e un generale」のサントラの2曲目
であることがWikipediaの記事により判明しました。
