関西ブルースロックの重鎮・有山じゅんじが、「上田正樹とサウストゥサウス」解散後の1978年に発表した1stソロアルバム。長らく入手困難だったがデジタル・リマスターによる待望の再リリースが決定。24歳のみずみずしい歌声はもちろん、彼の30年近いキャリアの原点が確認できる名盤だ。自由で気さく、飾らないギターと歌が味わい深い。

上田正樹とサウス・トゥ・サウス解散後リリースされた有山じゅんじ(淳司)の初ソロ(78年作)の再発。ラグタイム~ブルースを基調にしたオリジナルな歌を聴かせる。愛嬌のある歌声とともに諸戸美和子が描くポートレートが、あの時代の“大阪”を強烈に感じさせる。

Pure、まさにそういう感じ。あれから何年たったんだろう。あの山の麓の大木は、椎の木か、樫の木か。今に見ている僕だって、見上げるほどの大木になってやる、とはありやまさんは決して言わないと思うんですが、でも日本のブルースを大事に大事にありやまというひとつの枠を決して譲らずそのスタイルを進化させて、今まだ成長して、私達にいつも変わらずめちゃめちゃあったかいこころとギターを贈り続けてくれてるんですよね。これ好き、ずっと。最初にLPがでるというときに、予約してお小遣いをはたいて買ったんです。CDになって良かったと本当に思います。ありがとうありやまさん。星５つなんて、いくつでも。

シンプル。朴訥。正直。
そんな形容詞をならべても、このCDにはたどりつけない。
オトコを酔わせるテクを披露するワケでもなければ
ヲンナを泣かせるワザを見せるワケでもない。

でも、誰にもマネできない世界がある。
まっすぐに、ココロに入ってくる。
なので星５つ。
