4.0 out of 5 stars 壮大な自然を映像と音楽で楽しみたかった・・・, 2006/12/16
BEGINのインストシリーズの第２弾で、これまた癒される自然環境音とBEGINの名曲が合わさって、淡々と流れていて気持ち良いです。日常のちょっとした束の間に聴くとココロが洗い流されるでしょう。ちょいと残念なのは、「リーフ・ライン」のようにDVDが付いていない事です。なぜなのでしょう？山原や西表島ならではの沖縄特有の優れた自然の素材（“ノグチゲラ”とかマングローブ林とかいろいろあるでしょ）を活かして、前作と肩を並べる「心地よい癒し映像の“森林バージョン”」が撮れた筈なのに。場所が場所だけに撮影するとしたら大変だったでしょうけど。映像ももしかしたら当初は企画に挙がったかも知れないけど、撮影機材の現地での運搬が困難とかの理由で断念しちゃたのかな。。。いずれにしても、そこだけが残念なので星４つです。

このアルバムは、BEGINの名曲をモチーフとしたインストのアルバムです｡

「Leef Line」（島袋優プロデュース）に続き、第２弾という感じでしょうか｡
今作はアレンジ･プロデュースがピアノの上地等さんということもあり、
ピアノの音がとても印象的に入ってきている点が前作との大きな違いだと思います｡
一五一会との響きがとても心地よいものとなっています｡

また、ジャケット写真の通り「森の音」を中心にアルバムが進んでいきます｡
木々のざわめき、鳥の声、雨の音…｡そして静寂｡
実際に沖縄の山原や八重山の西表で録音した「森の音」たちが、
楽曲のイメージをさらに膨らませてくれています｡
いまやBEGINと言うと沖縄、海、みたいなイメージが強いかと思うのですが、
そうでないBEGINの一面を感じることが出来ます｡

疲れたときも元気な時も、いい意味で自分をニュートラルにしてくれるアルバムです。
