テレビ朝日系金曜ナイトドラマ「特命係長 只野仁」のエンディングテーマ。もちろんオリジナルはThe Blue Heartsのラブレターです。女性の声でしっとりと歌われていて、ちょっと演歌調にも聞こえるこんなアレンジも意外といいものだと思いますね。こういうのが素敵なのは、もちろん、もとの曲、歌詞がとってもすばらしいことが一番の理由なのでしょうけれど。ちなみにこの白羽玲子さんはかわいらしいタレントさんですが、元キックボクシングチャンピオンの沢村忠さんの娘さんなのです。

昔から一途にブルーハーツのファンです。ヒロト（ブルーハーツのボーカル）のラブレターは言うまでも無く良いですが、白羽さんのもとても良い！甲乙つけるのは的外れじゃないかな？

「丁寧に、しっとりと歌い上げている」というのは、正にこのことだと思います。聴く前に「無名の歌手がカバーなんかしやがって！」と思ったのは間違いでした…。でもやっぱり楽曲、「ラブレター」は良いですね。手紙よりメールが多い最近ですが、歌詞も色褪せた感じがしません。ブルハのコピーバンドでドラムを叩きまくっていた、あの頃を思い出しました。ブルハを知らない人にも当然お勧めです。

で、どうして星が四つかというと、白羽さんの歌が素晴らしいのでもう一曲くらい何かカバーでもオリジナルでも収録されていたら…と思うのです。だから、白羽さんの歌唱力やアレンジとは無関係。歌なのに、インストのＢＧＭ感覚でかけられる一曲ですね。

白羽さんは、これだけ歌が上手ならカバーだけのＣＤを出しても価値があるんじゃないかな？

どこかで白羽さんのラブレターをちらっと聴いて、ブルーハーツを愛してやまない自分は、誰が歌っているのかすぐに調べました。全部聴いて、なんと優しい声で、丁寧な歌い方をしているのだろうと驚きました。いや、歌が上手ですね、白羽さんは！曲を完全にマスターしている！高校時代にブルハのコピーバンドでドラムを叩きまくっていたあの日々を、ふわりと包んでくれたような感じです。

ラブレターという曲自体、名曲であることも再確認。最近はメールの方が手紙より多いようですが、歌詞は全く色褪せていないと思います。ブルハをあまり知らない人も、聴いてみる価値は絶対にありますよ。歌が楽器にさえ聞こえるので、BGMにもなると思います、ちょっと短いですが。

とにかく白羽さんの歌は丁寧で素晴らしい！で、どうして星が４つかというと、もう一曲くらいカバーでもオリジナルでも白羽さんの曲が収録されているといいなと思ったから。近々白羽さんの新しいCDが出るようですが、色んな曲をカバーで復刻して欲しいとも思います。
