果たして、これ以上のものを望めるだろうか？ これぞ、カナダ出身のトーチ・ソング歌手 / ピアニストであるダイアナ・クラールの真骨頂だ。本作は、2001年12月のパリ公演を記録した2時間の作品で、アルバム『The Look of Love』のすぐ後にリリースされた。バンドの中で目立っているのはギタリストのアンソニー・ウィルソンとベーシストのジョン・クレイトンだが、アンサンブル全体がクラールを完ぺきにサポートしている。瑞々しいストリングスは、パリ交響楽団によるもの。スタインウェイのピアノを前にしてのクラールの演奏技術は、往年のスタンダードやバラードのスモーキーな演奏に負けないぐらい際立っている。クラールは、客演指揮者 / アレンジャーのクラウス・オガーマンに触発されて、驚くような機知を発揮したり（「All or Nothing」の中にビートルズの「Day Tripper」をさり気なく忍ばせる）、堂に入ったソロを聴かせたりと絶好調だ。音楽とぴったり息の合ったカメラワークおよび編集は、押し付けがましさを感じさせることなく親密な空気をかもし出し、地上にいながらにしてジャズ天国を味あわせてくれる。（Jeff Shannon, Amazon.com）
