2004年４月にリリースされた
『Salt』の日本盤。
コーネリアスとマシュー・ハーバートが参加した
2曲をプラス。

アート・リンゼイ。
NY生まれながら、3歳から17歳までブラジルで育つ。
ノー・チューニングスの前衛ギタリスト。
ノー・ウェイヴ・シーンの中心的存在だった
DNAに始まり、ラウンジ・リザーズ、
ゴールデン・パロミノスを経て
ジョン・ゾーンなどとともに
NYアンダーグラウンド・シーンを象徴する
アーティストとなる。
その後、
ピーター・シェラーとともに
アンビシャス・ラヴァーズを結成。
坂本龍一、テイ・トウワなどと
親交も深い。

ソロにおいては
彼のルーツともいえる
ブラジル・サウンドをベースに
NYらしい鋭角的なセンスで
パンク/エレクトロニック/アヴァンギャルド・ジャズまで
多様な音楽を融合したポップな音楽を作っている。

彼のへろっとしたヴォーカルも
ソングライティングもステキ。

パイーアのパーカッシブ・リズムの
クールなダンス感覚、
彼のノイズ・ギターの
自由にたゆたうアヴァン感覚。

独特の美学を持った
広範な音楽的素養が

もう、最高傑作ではないでしょうか！！買って損はしません。アヴァンなPopに磨きがかかり、大人の、最高のサウンドが愉しめます。ファンでない方にも是非聴いていただきたい。しかし、唯一無比とはこの人のためにあるのではないでしょうか....。
