華やかさも無くあか抜けないけれど、本物だと思った。
作った人の思いや、姿がつかめる曲を久々に頂いた気持。
誰だって本当の姿は意外と泥臭く、くらい気持から逃れられなかったり、悩んだりするものだけど、それを否定せず、目を逸らさず、歌っているのが良いと思うのです
最後の卑怯者など特に。安易に慰めたり、ハッピーソングを歌われたりするよりか、自分には助ける力も勇気もないと告白されたほうがよっぽど良い。その無力感のほうがよっぽど共感できる
こういう歌を歌う人がちゃんといるのね…と安心しました。

タテタカコは歌う。歌わずにはおれんから歌う。
何を？　恋だの愛だのではないです。そんな詞はぜんぜん出てこない。
お仕着せの言葉やメロディをきれいさっぱり捨ててしまったとき、そこには何が残る？
この世界の底にある、重くるしい沈黙だけがただようとしたら？

けれど、タテさんの歌はそもそも、徹底的な押し黙り、口ごもりからはじまっている。
言葉も音も、降りつもる真っしろい雪のような沈黙や、夜のような底なしの闇からしか生まれないし、響くことはないんだと。
だからタテさんの歌は歌のふるさとに近い。それは懐かしい風景の無限のざわめき、世界の壊れのなかにとどまろうとする静かな決意のよう。ずっと昔に損なわれた影たちの悲しみを、見守り、送り出し、語り継ぐこと。
そして生きている者たちには、突き放すやさしさをもって、どこまでもその日々を引き受けよと願い、励ますのだ。

私は、歌われずにはおれない歌だけを愛する。生まれてこずにはいられない子供たちを愛するみたいに。そこには意味はない。世界の美しさを伝えたいという純粋な欲望と、舞い踊ろうとする音たちのつつましい意志があるだけ。「そら」や「裏界線」がひらくのは、そんな比類なくエレメンタルな空気。水のにおい、震える風、木々の記憶、虫たちのささやき、遠くの星空……。私はそんな歌を、評価を超えたものだと思う。

ただひとつ欠けたものがあるとすれば、それは、ライヴではおなじみの奇跡的にうつくしい歌「月」が収録されなかったこと。３枚目のアルバム、今から心待ちです！

その感動がまたリアルに伝わってきます。
もう、とにかく切ないです。そして、癒され、失いかけていた物をふと思い出し、涙するような感覚になります。
シンプルでこんなに心に響きわたる音楽って・・
タテさんの声もとても透き通っていますし、もちろんピアノも。
このアルバム前作「空」よりさらに切なく感じました。
ピアノの強弱にさらに強い感情移入を感じました。
シンプルに、シンプルに・・・素直に生きてゆく。
誰でも迷ったり泣いたりするけど、この音楽をきいて、ふとした小さい幸せだとか、素直な気持ちを思い出せるといいかもしれない・・・
貴重なＣＤだとおもいました。
